Serbian Condolences to the Jews for the Life of
Arafat

Slobodan Milosevic issued a
statement of "deepest condolences" for the "loss" of Yasser Arafat, whom
he called "one of the most important symbols of the struggle for the
rights of peoples in our times" and the "President of Palestine."
In eulogizing Arafat, Milosevic does not represent the Serbian people,
not even the relatively small number who, like myself, have actively
defended him against the fabricated charges at The Hague Tribunal. If
Milosevic were sincere about defending the Serbs against oppression, why
would he endorse Arafat, the latest incarnation of the Islamic fanatics
who have been murdering Serbs for centuries?
I can find no mention of any 'nation of Palestine' in history books. The
creation of this mythical state, complete with a 'people' called 'the
Palestinians', has been a project of the NATO governments, the media and
Arab leaders. We saw the same thing in the Balkans. There, Western and
Muslim leaders created two imaginary peoples. One, called 'Kosovars',
were ordinary Albanians living in Kosovo, the cradle of Serbian national
culture (the Jerusalem of Serbia). The other, called 'Bosniaks', were
Muslims living in the Yugoslav administrative unit called
Bosnia-Herzegovina, where they were not a majority and where Serbian
Christian peasants farmed most of the land.
The Western media transformed these Muslims into 'peoples' and gave them
brand names, marketing them as rightful owners of the false nations of
Bosnia and Kosovo. In this way, Serbs could be portrayed as occupying a
supposedly foreign land. When NATO mobilized the 'Bosniaks' and
'Kosovars' to destroy a real country - Yugoslavia - Western citizens
were sold the lie that this was national liberation.[1]
This is the pattern for NATO nation-destroying. The media portrays a
local ethnic population with a weakness for racism as an 'oppressed
nation'. This group is mobilized against a real nation that has been the
historic object of its hatred. It is encouraged to launch terrorist
attacks against the real nation. The media portrays this terror as a
tragically violent attempt to win justified demands. NATO and the UN
intervene, aiding and abetting the terrorists to destroy the target
nation.
Cases in point: Albanians in Macedonia and Kosovo; Muslims in Bosnia;
and 'Palestinian' Arabs living in Israel and the disputed territories,
ethnically identical to Arabs in Jordan, Egypt and Syria (Arafat, the
'Palestinian' symbol, is from Egypt). By constantly referring to them as
'Palestinians', the media has imbued them with national status. This was
aided by the refusal of Arab governments to let 'Palestinian' refugees
become citizens in the Arab states; by the UN, which has given them a
fortune in aid on condition that they remain 'Palestinians' and
refugees; and by the US government, which coerced Israel to accept a
'Palestinian state'.
The 'Palestinians' are defined by their purpose, stated in the
constitution of Arafat's group, Fatah. Their 'liberation' requires the
"eradication of Zionist economic, political, military and cultural
existence." Peace negotiations may be a useful ploy, but "[a]rmed
struggle is a strategy and not a tactic... and this struggle will not
cease unless the Zionist state is demolished..."[2]
Milosevic called Arafat "one of the most important symbols of the
struggle for the rights of peoples in our times." He can make this
preposterous statement because the mainstream media routinely portrays
Arafat as a secular progressive. In fact, Arafat's Fatah is heir to the
deadliest scourge of the 20th century, the wedding of Islam and Nazism,
which slaughtered hundreds of thousands of Serbs, Jews and Gypsies, and
played a key role in the Holocaust.
Arafat - Progressive? Or Nazi?
The British-appointed Mufti of Jerusalem, Haj Amin Al-Husseini, was
Arafat's mentor in the 'Palestinian' movement until he died in 1974. For
example, veterans of the Mufti's Arab Higher Committee set up the
terrorist group Fatah, putting Arafat in charge.
In 2002, when Arafat was asked whether he was worried that he might be
replaced, he answered by invoking his mentor, the Mufti:
"Were they able to replace our
hero Haj Amin Al-Husseini? ...There were a number of attempts to get rid
of Haj Amin, whom they considered an ally of the Nazis. But even so, he
lived in Cairo, and participated in the 1948 war, and I was one of his
troops."[3]
To understand Arafat, one must
understand the Mufti. That requires understanding why fanatical Muslims
hate Israel and Serbia.
For 400 years, Christians and Jews in the Balkans lived under the terror
of the Islamic Ottoman Empire. They were known as dhimmi people. So were Christians and Jews in the Middle East.
'Dhimmitude' means that Muslims don't kill Christians and Jews as long
as they accept the Dhimma, an agreement of surrender under which these
'people of the book' are semi-slaves of the Muslims. If they violate the
humiliating and abusive Dhimma by resisting, Islamic authorities may
issue a fatwa for holy war (jihad) against them.[4]
Thus, in modern times, when Christians and Jews in the Balkans and the
Middle East defend their rights, Muslim fanatics see them as proper
targets for jihad.
Perhaps this explains why Haj Amin Al-Husseini has so much appeal to
Muslims. Look at his history. In 1920, he organized a slaughter of Jews
in Jerusalem. This was three years after Zionists secured British
approval for the creation of a Jewish homeland, thus violating the
Dhimma. [5]
The next year, the British government rewarded this fanatical terrorist
by appointing him Grand Mufti of Jerusalem. Following that, he organized
more pogroms, including the 1929 Hebron massacre, during which the
murderers chanted, "The [British] government is with us!" and "Palestine
is our land and the Jews are our dogs!" These chants express the essence
of Haj Amin Al-Husseini's movement, passed down to Arafat and his
followers: not a national liberation movement, but a movement dependent
on great power sponsors, with a goal of crushing the 'dogs' - "our dogs"
- who violated the Dhimma by acting as free people.[6]
By 1936, Haj Amin had a new Great Power sponsor: Nazi Germany. During
World War II, he was Hitler's top Nazi in charge of Muslim affairs. In a
personal meeting, Hitler promised to put Haj Amin in charge of wiping
out Middle Eastern Jewry as soon as the Nazis consolidated the Russian
front.[7]
In the meantime, Haj Amin pushed Nazi officials to finish the Holocaust
quickly in Europe. The following is testimony from the trial of
Holocaust chief Adolph Eichmann, concerning his relationship with the
Mufti of Jerusalem, Haj Amin Al-Husseini:

State Attorney Bach: This is our document No. 281. Mr. Steiner first
tells us that [Eichmann's deputy, Dieter] Wisliceny described his talks
with Eichmann, why Palestine cannot be considered as the destination for
[Jewish] emigration: "When I asked him why, he laughed and asked whether
I had never heard of the Grand Mufti Husseini. He explained that the
Mufti has very close contact and cooperation with Eichmann, and
therefore Germany cannot agree to Palestine being the final destination,
as this would be a blow to Germany's prestige in the Mufti's eyes." Then
he goes on: "At this further conversation Wisliceny gave me more details
about the cooperation between Eichmann and the Mufti. The Mufti is a
sworn enemy of the Jews and has always fought for the idea of
annihilating the Jews... The Mufti is one of the originators of the
systematic destruction of European Jewry by the Germans, and he has
become a permanent colleague, partner and adviser to Eichmann… in the
implementation of this programme." […][8]

At the same time, the Mufti
organized Bosnian Muslims into the Nazi SS Handzar Division. They fought
at Stalingrad; in Yugoslavia they hunted down tens of thousands of Serbs, Jews and Gypsies.
Understanding the power of Muslim fanaticism, Hitler ordered the German
officers in charge of Handzar to wear the fez, which had become a symbol
of jihad. (During the 1990s, the Muslim extremists in Bosnia, whom NATO
supported, fondly remembered Haj Amin's Handzar SS Division.
[9] )
After the war, Haj Amin
returned to the Middle East, shamefully under State Department
protection.[10] There, he once again terrorized Arabs
willing to live in peace with the Jews and incited Arabs to slaughter
Jews in 1948, when the Arab armies tried to crush Israel in the cradle.
This is the man who fashioned the post-war 'Palestinian' movement, born
of the wedding of fanatical Islam and German Nazism, complete with an
imaginary 'Palestinian people' that was designed to create world support
for the destruction of Israel by depicting this destruction as an act of
national liberation. By calling Arafat a symbol of the fight for
justice, Milosevic is in fact endorsing the line of the Western
Establishment. It is not the first time.
The Western media image of Milosevic as a militant defender of the Serbs
is pure fiction. The now-destroyed state of Yugoslavia was first and
foremost a creation of the Serbs, so that the Balkans could be protected
from the Muslim conquerors who terrorized Serbs - and also Jews - for
400 years, as well as from the Austro-Hungarians and Germans, who killed
over two million Serbs, Jews and Gypsies during the past century.
Yugoslavia was also created so that the entire Serbian people could live
in a common state. When fascists and Islamic extremists, backed by
Germans, the UK and the US, tried to break up Yugoslavia in the 1990s,
Milosevic's government adopted the Western line that the attacks on
Serbs in Bosnian and Croatian areas of Yugoslavia were a purely local
affair, and Serbia proper should keep hands off.
Thus, at the start - when united resistance might have derailed the
destruction of Yugoslavia - Milosevic atomized the Serbs, preventing
unified action and demoralizing many who wanted to fight back. But even
as he said the State of Serbia had no responsibility for defending Serbs
in Bosnia and the Krajina territory (near Croatia), Milosevic also tried
to prevent these 'local' Serbs from defending themselves. He said the
Krajina Serbs should rely for their defense on the UN. When Arab states
and Iran, working under Pentagon coordination, shipped Middle Eastern
terrorists into Bosnia to crush the Serbs, and the Serbs in Bosnia
fought back, Milosevic slapped an embargo on them. [11]
By falsely accusing Milosevic of atrocities against Muslims, NATO's
Tribunal has made it necessary for those who would defend the truth
about Yugoslavia to defend Milosevic. I shall continue to oppose the
charges against Milosevic, because these charges are lies. Milosevic is
not guilty of war crimes against Bosnian Muslims, against Croats or
against Albanians in Kosovo. Rather, he is guilty of facilitating the
NATO onslaught against his own people. The Hague Tribunal's attacks on
him are attempts to demonize the Serbs. But the Serbian people are in a
desperate position today in large part because Milosevic sabotaged
unified action.

[1] Because
people generally trust the media to be more-or-less honest, and because
most people outside the Balkans were and remain ignorant about basic
facts, the media has been able to get away with creating a fictional
Yugoslavia in which, for example, Kosovo Albanians were fiercely
oppressed by Serbian overlords. To combat misinformation in today's
media, it is useful to consult newspaper articles written before the
campaign to demonize the Serbs began. Below is an excerpt from a London
Times article, written in November 1987, a transition point, when the
media was beginning to attack the Serbs. In reading the full text of the
article, one detects its transitional character: the article
simultaneously suggests that Serbian anger may wreck Yugoslavia, yet at
the same time describes the viciously racist abuse of the Serbs, which
rivaled that of Black Americans during segregation, and which, by its
organized and provocative nature, supports the conclusion that other
forces were quite actively trying to destroy Yugoslavia and therefore
targeted the Serbs, who were the foundation of the first and second
Yugoslav states. I have posted the full text at

Below is the excerpt. -- Jared Israel, Editor Emperor's Clothes
[Excerpt from London Times article starts here]
There
was more trouble to come. It was revealed that Fadil Hodza, an
ageing Albanian politician in Kosovo, once vice-president of
Yugoslavia and an old colleague of Tito, had insulted Serbian
women.
What
Hodza had to say was fairly spectacular. He suggested that the
rape problem in the province could be solved if there were more
prostitutes - particularly Serbian ones. 'Albanian women won't
do it. Serbian and other women would like to. So why not let
them?' he said.
Serbian women were soon out in the streets in unprecedented
demonstrations. Hodza himself, who in the quaint language of the
party 'did not express self criticism', has been punished in a
way calculated to devastate any happily-retired communist
leader: he has lost the sentry box outside his home, his
bodyguard and, perhaps worst of all, his limousine.
But
Hodza is still being greeted as a local hero by many Albanians,
and at a recent football match his name was chanted by Kosovo
supporters, infuriating the rival Serbian fans.
